Well, I just made my 3rd wiki-edit for the film 300. I was actually surprised that the particular fact I added was not already present. I assumed wikipedia was strongly information efficient and reflected most major public news. Nonetheless, I added a comment regarding the film's recent nominations, including Best Movie, for the 2007 MTV Movie Awards. 300 actually received more nominations than any other film (I told you it was good). While MTV is certainly not on par with the Academy Awards, the nominations are certainly a testament to the movie's immense popularity despite the harsh criticism it received. It also indicated the movie was very popular among teen audiences, who typically have little regard for historical accuracy or political correctness.
